Juxtaposition of the day: X-country V. Track
Lot's of people who don't run think that track and cross are the same, but they're totally different. I personally like track better because of the energy you get with the everyone watching the entire race. In cross on the other hand you get to really show your metal to yourself because there are some places where the only one who knows how you are doing is you.

Jocosity of the Day:
In a Catholic school cafeteria, a nun places a note in front of a pile of apples, "Only take one. God is watching." Further down the line is a pile of cookies. A little boy makes his own note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."

| | A.M. I had a decent run. Ran a good pace and the temps were great.
P.M. We had 10x200 repeats. I was a little freaked out at first because the times I was supposed to be hitting were the same as my personal record in the 200. I hit the time 6 out of 10 times but it could have been better.
Jettison of the Day:
Sputnik I, the first manmade satellite to orbit the Earth.

| | A.M. 60 minutes easy. I ran the first 30 solo because I had a job interview in the afternoon. It's super scetchy running alone at 5:30 in in the morning, every sprinkler that turned on scared the crap out of me.
P.M. 30 minutes easy.

Snow Canyon Invite (0.5 Miles) 00:02:08 | | I needed my first lap to be a lot quicker. I had a lot of juice left in the tank at the end. It was raining like a mother cusser but I still think I could have gone faster.

| | A.M. pretty chill easy run.
P.M. We had our Cosmin test today. I ran 1554 meters which is a big P.R. for me. Afterwards, I got a pretty painful blister on the side of my foot but I'll keep an eye on it to keep it from getting too nasty.
Judge of the Day: Earl Warren
The chief justice of the Brown v. Board of Education case. This cool kat helped to end racial segregation in the U.S.

My 95 mustang has broken down several times and is so low that it scrapes on speedbumps. But it's still the coolest car ever.
